Harvest Season and Slow Cooker

According to our local news, area farmers are going to have a record breaking harvest this year. This is due to a cooler and wetter growing season than we have had in many years.  Everything is so lush and green. Should be a beautiful display of autumn color as well.  I love four distinct seasons and its hard for me to make up my mind which one I love most--but I'm leaning towards Autumn.

We recently bought a new slow cooker.  Its one of the programmable types that have a sealed lid and temperature probe.  Its awesome. Congratulations to Hamilton Beach for finally inventing an intelligent slow cooker!
