Today well-lived makes Every Yesterday a Dream of Happiness and every Tomorrow a Vision of Hope. Look well therefore to this Day! Such is the Salutation of the Dawn. --From The Sanskrit.

Vintage Art
I adore vintage art and old photographs. I have quite a collection of it.
I use it for making collages, ATC's and greeting cards. Sometimes I frame it with an appropriate poem to go along with it.
They are a unique reminder of a gentler time.
This little gal has been gathering flowers. I love her white pinafore and the ribbons in her hair. Flower picking was a favorite past-time for me as a child. Grandma and mom had many gardens. Wild flowers attracted me like a bee!
These ladies remind of the movie we watched last evening called "27 Dresses". They look like they are going to a wedding.
Ladies looked like real ladies back then. Hats were certainly the fashion and ladies carried fans and handkerchiefs.

I found a blog the other day that I think you would like it is called

Enjoy!
I love your new look of your journal and all you share.
ReplyDeleteI love you
These ARE pretty. I was watching "Wuthering Heights" last night and thinking "Ladies looked like ladies" (even when running about the moors in their nightgowns!)
